Advice on how to use your She Hair straighteners:

To get the very best out of your new She Hair Straighteners, it is always worth knowing how to use them correctly. This was you can ensure optimum results & salon fresh hair!

Once you have them plugged in, the LED power light will flash once your Straighteners are ready to use. This will take seconds.

Before straightening, always ensure you use a heat protector for your hair. We recommend TIGI Flat Iron Spray.

Whatever your hair type you should always section your hair into small manageable sections no longer than the width of a comb. Always straighten the bottom of your hair first otherwise you will be pinning up hair that has already been straightened and you may then need to re-straighten at the end, causing unnecessary heat exposure.

Take your first bottom section of hair using a comb and place the straighteners as close to the roots as possible, then simply close the plates and slide the iron down the full length of your hair using consistent and even pressure. Remember to always go from root to tip as this will follow the natural lie of the cuticle and ensure your hair smooth and shiny. This should only take seconds.

Now take another small section of hair just above the one you have straightened and repeat the above step.

Repeat the above steps until you have beautiful shinny and wonderfully straight hair from using She Hair Straighteners! Although sectioning your hair may take longer, your hair will style will last longer and you will achieve salon style results!

Should you want to use your irons to create curls, flicks or twirls this is very achievable too.

As with straight hair always take small sections of hair from the bottom and work your way upwards.

For flicks, you simply start off straightening hair as if you want it straight but as you move your straighteners towards the end of your hair shaft you simply flick them up in an upward motion.

For curls and twists, you can apply different methods. Some stylists prefer to run the irons along the sectioned hair very quickly (like curling paper) and gently twist as they go. This tends to create very natural twists and curls. For tighter curls, many stylists tend to wrap the hair around the iron and gently apply heat. This is the same principle as using curling tongues or wrapping some paper around a pencil.

If you are unsure about how to achieve your desired look using your irons, it is always a good idea to ask your regular stylist to demonstrate next time you are in the salon.

All She Hair Straighteners can be used in Britain and on the Continent as they are all fitted with a travel adapter plug which operates on 220 – 240 voltage mains supply. If you wish to take advantage of this, you simply loosen the screw in the plug and you will find a 2 pin European plug inside.
