HOW TO USE YOUR SHE CERAMIC HAIR STRAIGHTENERS: To get the very best out of your new She Mk4 Hair Straightener, here are some styling tips. Once you have plugged them in, the red LED indicator light flashes to tell you they are ready to use. This takes seconds. Before you start to straighten your hair, please use a heat protector to prevent any damage. We recommend TIGI Flat Iron Spray. Whatever your hair type section your hair into small manageable pieces. These should ideally be smaller than the plate of your straighteners. When straightening, always start from the bottom part of your hair to prevent clipping hair out the way that has already been straightened. Take your first section and using a comb to hold in place, run the plates of your iron down the full length of your hair going from root to tip. Remember to try and use consistent and even pressure which will give you a better overall glossy finish and also prevent heat spots. Now repeat the above step with the next section of hair. Continue to repeat the above steps until you have straightened all of your hair. If you follow this advice you will achieve wonderfully glossy, shiny, static free salon looking hair! Should you want to create flicks, waves or curls this is very easy too. As with straightening hair, good sectioning is imperative. For flicks, simply run the straighteners from root to tip but as you get towards the end flick the iron out in an upward motion. Twists and curls are achieved slightly different. Simply wrap your hair around the iron ensuring you leave the tip until last as this has had the most heat exposure. For tight curls you will need to get as close to the root as possible, for loser more relaxed curls you can wrap less hair around. If you are still unsure about how to use your irons, ask you regular stylist to demonstrate next time you are in the salon.
