PINK SHE STRAIGHTENERS – THE TECHNOLOGY BEHIND THEM: • Pink She Straighteners use the most up to date PTFC ceramic tourmaline heaters which means they generate a high level of negative ions to help reduce heat damage by breaking down any large drops of water into small pieces which can easily be absorbed by the hair. • As with all She irons, they have a microprocessor which rapidly heats the irons up in a matter of seconds. On the MK4 models, this is indicated by a red flashing light. • These irons come with the very latest infra-red heat & ionic technology, combined with the floating ceramic tourmaline plates ensures these irons actively prevent heat spots forming, which is one of the major causes of heat damage to hair. • No heat is lost from the plates as they are built using tourmaline which helps to keep the temperature at a maximum whilst styling. • These irons have a more rounded end which make them easy to curl your hair with. • All straighteners come with a 3 metre cord that swivels at the end for easy use. • As with all She irons, they come fully equipped with a travel plug which means you can take your irons almost anywhere in Europe & to most places in Australia. Before commencing, lightly spray your hair with a good heat protector. We recommend something like TIGI Flat Iron Spray. Only seconds after you plug in your irons, you should see red flashing LED power light indicating they are ready to use. Whatever your hair type, always section your hair into small sections before you start to use them. Incorrect sectioning is the most common mistake people make when straightening hair. The smaller the section, the longer it will last and the straighter you will get your hair. Using a comb, take your first section and run your irons along your hair, starting from the root and working your way along to the end. Going in this direction closes the cuticle of the hair and helps make it shiny. Remember to apply even pressure and use consistent speed to prevent heat spots occurring. Now repeat the above steps until you have glossy, static free shiny hair. Did you know you can also use your irons to create curls, twirls or flicks? Again you need to carefully section your hair and starting from the root to tip simply pull your straighteners upwards at the end of the section of the hair to achieve flicks or curl it around your irons to get curls or waves.
