This model is one of SHEs hottest irons to date with variable temperature control of 60° to 230°C. These irons use the very latest generation of PTFC high performance ceramic tourmaline heaters which generate a high concentration of negative ions. This helps to reduce the risk of heat damage to your hair. A built in micro-processor rapidly heats these irons up in seconds. A red flashing light indicates when they are ready to use. Infra-red heat & the floating ceramic tourmaline plates on these irons helps to prevent heat spots occurring. Before starting to straighten your hair, we recommend using a good heat protector, something like TIGI Flat Iron Spray. Comb your hair into small manageable sections. These should be no longer than the width of your comb. Always straighten from root to tip and start with the hair underneath so that you do not need to re-straighten pieces. Taking the first bottom section of your hair, place the irons on the roots and simply slide the iron down the full length of your hair. Remember to use even and consistent pressure. Now repeat the above step on the next section & subsequent sections until you have glam looking shiny hair. Have you ever thought about using your irons to create curls, flicks or twirls? To achieve any of these looks you will need to section your hair in exactly the same way as if you were straightening. For flicks, as you move your irons towards the end of your hair simply flick the irons out in an upward motion. For curls and twists, simply twist the hair around the iron and gently apply heat. If you are unsure about any styling methods it is always a good idea to ask your regular stylist for a demonstration next time you are in the salon having your hair done.
